I started Farrell’s in February of 2016 after my friend had seen me post on social media about wanting to get back in shape and invited me to come workout with her. Between my already curvy body and still carrying extra weight from having my first son, I got to the point where I didn’t recognize myself in pictures and I knew I had to make a change. I started my journey with the free week, fell in love, and jumped into the Spring 10 Week Session that April. The results were addicting! Standing at 5 feet 4 inches, I joined Farrell’s weighing just over 160 lbs, about 30% body fat and by the end of my 10 weeks I was down to 148 lbs, 24% body fat. Once I saw how possible this new lifestyle was, I began setting goals. Fast forward to October of 2016, I knew my husband and I were soon going to start trying for another baby and I wanted to be in the best shape possible, with hopes of an easier, healthier pregnancy/labor and a quicker snapback. I joined the Fall FIT Recharge with gym friends who provided me with some fun/healthy competition, motivation, and encouragement. I finished out at 134 lbs, 16% body fat. I was in the best shape of my LIFE. Farrell’s was able to help me achieve things that I honestly didn’t think were possible for me. I’m now entering my 9th month of pregnancy with our second son, still living life at level 10 and loving every second of this healthy, active lifestyle.
My FXB journey began in 2014 when I did the fall 10-week session right before my sister got married. Besides the great results, it was wonderful to meet such a great group of people. Everyone is in such a different place with their fitness level and it’s all about pushing to your level 10. I’ve only been in Colorado for a little over 4 years and have gotten to meet some of my very closest friends through this fitness adventure. Some days I would question, do I want to get up and go? Yes, yes I do and never do I leave a class without a smile (and sweat) on my face.

FXB shows you how 45 minute workouts can make such a difference in your everyday life especially when surrounded by great coaches, instructors, and workout buddies. For me, it’s not about being skinny but becoming stronger each day. In July of 2015, I started working front desk part time and then began to instruct classes which is scary at first but with a group of motivators that Farrell’s has, it is honestly a lot of fun! All from creating kickboxing workouts to pushing a class through some of the toughest strength classes, it’s all wonderful! I thank Farrell’s for giving me such a positive outlook on having a healthier lifestyle!

I started at FXB in Fall 2014 and did the 10 weeks with a group of friends. I loved the structure of the workouts and the results were unlike any other gym or activity that I had tried over the years. I was able to put on and maintain more muscle than I had in my younger years. I was asked to instruct and I decided to step out of my comfort zone and get on the microphone. I really enjoy instructing and especially like creating kickboxing workouts. I look forward to seeing my Farrell’s family every morning and they help to keep me motivated. I have met so many wonderful people and I am honored to be a part of their personal fitness journeys. I am a small business owner, wife and a mother to 2 nearly grown children. I enjoy hiking, biking, traveling, cooking and knitting. I hope to continue to build on my fitness level and kickboxing skills through the FXB program and look forward to meeting many new faces along the way.
